A Dream Come True
Since August 4th I've been creating my own short film for college, filming wrap up on the 19th of February and i finished editing it the whole film is thirty three minutes long, the longest in my class.
I adapted the screen play from T.S. Elliot's the Hollow Men and the film is entitled The Hollow Man i am pleased with it but i haven't had the chance to sit down and watch the entire film throughout yet.
The writing was an interesting experience because id never written a screenplay before even though i knew how to. The script is only ten pages long but its written with a lot of mood to it, i write a shot but that shots meant to go on for a while.
Once the screenplay was done i got my actors together and we started filming and it became an act of filming what we could in the weekend and taking that footage and editing it during college, that went on regularly for the first two months or so but then my leading man got a haircut and production had to be put on hold for a while we recommenced filming at around February 10th and i the schedule was tight but we got the footage we needed i edited it all together and now i have the finished product.
I have enjoyed pretty much all the aspects of making the film but i would say that my two most favorite parts are the being on set filming and editing.
The selesai film is done and I've learned a lot from it that will help me with other projects in the future, if you are determined and know what you want to do with a passion it can come true and this short film is the start for me accomplishing mine.
